St.Stephen Fire Department shares a border with Calais Maine, USA, therefore
a bond has been created between the two departments. St.Stephen and Calais offer each other mutual support in the event of
any type of emergency. St.Stephen and Calais have an automatic aid system in place for structure fires, but each town
is ready to respond if the other needs back- up. St.Stephen also has a mutual aid system with six other area fire deparments
. They are as follows:

- Lawrence Station Fire Department
- Oak Bay Fire Department
- Elmsville Fire Department
St.Stepehen Fire Department also dispaches for 15 departments in
