St.Stephen has a population of app. 5000 and is situated on the St.Croix River. St.Stephen shares and international boundry with Calais , Maine and that bond and history is celebrated every year in the International Festival. St.Stephen is offically named " Canada's Chocolate Town"  a celebration to celebrate Chocolate at the Chocolate Festival , which runs along side the International Festival. St.Stephen also helped celebrate the 1604-2004 landing of Samuel Du Champlaine and Monsiour Du Mond at St.Croix Island.
